Copper Carbon Dating Project.
Robin Hammer Mueller is working to get 40-50 Ancient Copper Artifacts that have wood, fiber, leather, or vegetation in them dated. This will widely open up the knowledge we have on early metalworking in North America. She is looking for a grant or financial help to fund this important study.

This is the first artifact to be run through the Carbon Dating Project and is in the collection owned by Robin Hammer Mueller. It came back nearly 5,000 years old, 3,000 BC. A grant of $5,000 will complete a study of 40-50 pieces she's working on. Photos taken by RHM.
Other Projects
Working with land owners to identify potential ancient sites on their property. We work to investigate the area, look into historic use, then examine the area for potential prehistoric use by looking at possible habitation sites, stone tools and artifacts.
