2016 Copper and Culture Conference on Prehistoric Metal Working in the Lake Superior Region was held August 20th-21st, 2016 in Houghton Michigan. Great lectures were filmed to share the knowledge with everyone.

11) Christopher Veit - Archaeology Project Manager and Co-owner, Gathering Waters Archaeology will present "Hixton and the silicified sandstone formations of Western Wisconsin."
12) Todd Rongstad- former political affairs specialist, now documentary and life-story filmmaker will present short films on Native American Culture.
13) Graham Jaehnig- Historian and writer, has a BA in History from MTU and a Master's from SNHU. Graham writes for the Houghton Mining Gazette and will give a talk on history in the Copper Country.
